There is no evil, no danger, no future catastrophe, no distance that can separate us from the love of God that is found in Jesus Christ.

[Rom 8:35-39 NIV] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If you are in Christ, the old you goes away and he leads us into a new life.

[2 Cor 5:17 NIV] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Jesus was condemned to death in our place, he took our sin, and by his wounds we have been healed.

[Rom 8:1 NIV] 1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

[1 Pt 2:24 NIV] "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."

He promises we can be strong and have no need to be afraid or discouraged because he will never leave us, abandon us, or forsake us.

[Heb 13:5 NIV] Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

[Deu 31:6-8 NIV] 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." 7 Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. 8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

He promises that if we are steady in our faith we can find perfect peace.

[Is 26:3 NIV] You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

He promises that if we seek him we will find him because he wants to be found.

[Jas 4:8 NIV] 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

[Mat 7:7 NIV] 7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

[Rev 3:20 NIV] 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

He has good plans for you, not to bring you to harm, but a future filled with hope.

[Jer 29:11 NIV] 11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

He promises that if we follow his purposes for our lives, nothing can stop us.

[Rom 8:28 NIV] 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

He promises that even when bad things happen, he will strengthen us, comfort us, and redeem it for our good.

[Jas 1:2-4 NIV] 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

[2Co 1:3-5 NIV] 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

[2Co 12:9-10 NIV] 9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

[Rom 8:28 NIV] 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

He promises that if we are tired, he will lighten our load, take us down the best paths in life, and lovingly counsel us as we go.

[Psa 32:8 NIV] 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

[Pro 3:5-6 NIV] 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

[Mat 11:28-29 NIV] 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

[Psa 25:9 NIV] 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

He promises to give heavenly wisdom to those who ask and believe.

[Jas 1:5-6 NIV] 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

He promises to give us peace if we bring him our anxieties with thankfulness.

[Phl 4:6-7 NIV] 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

He promises those who remain in him will stumble in this life, but his hand will keep us from falling and strengthen us.

[Psa 37:23-24 NIV] 23 The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; 24 though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

He promises that sinners can approach his throne with confidence and find grace and mercy in our time of need.

[Heb 4:16 NIV] 16 Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

[Isa 41:10 NIV] 10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

He promises that even we can't see him, he sees us, and if we persevere in faith, we will find our reward.

[Job 23:10 NIV] 10 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

He promises that those who hope in the Lord will find their strength and will keep going no matter what happens to them.

[Isa 40:31 NIV] 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

He promises that we will have troubles in this world, but we can have peace because he has already overcome everything this world can throw at us.

[Jhn 16:33 NIV] 33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

He promises that we need not worry about the future because he cares about us and will meet all our needs if we seek him first.

[Phl 4:19 NIV] 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

[Mat 6:25-34 NIV] 25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you--you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

[1Pe 5:7 NIV] 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

He promises that one day soon he will wipe away every tear, there will be no more death, no mourning, and no pain.

[Rev 21:4 NIV] 4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

[Rev 22:20 NIV] 20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
